Obituary for Warren Harding Moore Jr.
Warren Moore, 70, of Olive Hill, KY passed away Sunday, July 10, 2022 at his residence. He was born February 9, 1952 in Sioux City, Iowa to the late Warren Harding Sr. and Deloris Moore.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by an infant son and daughter.
He proudly served his county with the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was of Baptist Faith. He previously had served as the commander of Disabled American Veterans State Chapter # 18 and had worked for Columbia Gas.
He is survived by his wife, Diane S. Moore; a son, Timothy Moore of Huntington, WV; two brothers, John Moore and Lynn Moore both of Oak Island, NC; a sister, Debbie (Charlie) York of Huntington, WV; a grandson, Charlie (Shannon) Keen of Wayne, WV; four great-grandchildren, Angel, Nevaeh, Charlie, and Merida.
Funeral services will be Thursday, July 14, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at the Sparks Funeral Home in Grayson, Keith Hill minister.
Committal service will be at 2:00 p.m. at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Northeast in Greenup County and military honors by the American Legion Post #93, Kenova, WV.
Visitation will be Wednesday, July 13, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. -8:00p.m. at the funeral home.
