Wanda Lou Lyons Peters
1934-2023
Wanda Peters, 88, of Grayson passed away Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at the Carter Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Grayson. She was born September 29, 1934, in Thealka, KY; a daughter of the late Florida and Eldanna VanHoose Lyons.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by both her husbands, Lloyd Wallen and Murl Peters; five sisters, Anna Belle Puckett, Faye Preston, Nora Lee Lyons, Cora Lee Walters, and Peggy Wallen.
Wanda was of the United Baptist faith and was a healthcare worker with natural cures and medicines.
She is survived by two sisters; Linda Spencer of Belleville, MI, and Kay (Fred) Hitchcock of Tutor Key, KY. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Monday, March 20, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at the Sparks Funeral Home in Grayson, KY, Elder A.J. Williamson officiating. Burial will follow in the Marvin Sparks Cemetery in Johnson County.
Visitation will be Sunday, March 19, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
