Steven McDavid, 71, of Grayson passed away Monday, March 28, 2022, at his residence. He was born March 24, 1951, in Grayson a son of the late Harold Gene and Elsie Jane Sergent McDavid. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Frank McDavid.
He was of the Baptist faith and retired from Boilermakers Local 40.
Steven was an avid baseball and softball fan, playing and coaching many area teams. If he wasn't playing softball, he would be fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Drema Stephens McDavid; a son, Steven Shane McDavid; a daughter, Darla Rice; two brothers, Byron (Gloria) McDavid; Kevin "Mooch"(Alice) McDavid; three sisters, Brenda McDavid, Linda Adams, and Janie (Zane) Carter all of Grayson, KY; six grandchildren, Tyler (Shaylynn) McDavid, Tanner McDavid, Trey McDavid, Elyssa McDavid, Jarren Moore, and Issac Moore; four great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be conducted at a later date.
