Obituary for Katherine Huffman
Katherine Huffman, 78, of Olive Hill, KY passed away at her residence Sunday, July 10, 2022. She was born April 30, 1944 in Grayson; a daughter of the late Lester and Goldie Haney Wilburn.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, Harold Wilburn; four sisters, Mary Jane Alexander, Millie Griffith, Helen Rigsby, and Betty Martin.
She was of the Christian faith and attended Glory Hill Community Church. She was a caregiver, homemaker and mother who was loved by many in our community.
She is survived by her husband of nearly sixty years, Alva “Sonny” Eugene Huffman; a son, Barry Eugene Huffman of Olive Hill; a grandson, Bryson Huffman and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at the Sparks Funeral Home in Grayson, Paul Tierney minister. Burial will follow in the Damron Cemetery on Damron Branch.
Visitation will be Wednesday, July 13, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
