Obituary for Sandra J. Lambert (Hites)
Sandra J. Lambert 79, of Grayson, passed away Friday, November 5, 2021 at the Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, KY. She was born March 3, 1942 in Marysville, OH; a daughter of the late Donald and Dorothy Dotson Hites.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Douglas A. Young and a brother, David Hites.
She was of the Methodist faith and a member of the Pactolus United Methodist Church and the Gideons International. She worked 37 years for the Kroger Company in various positions.
She is survived by her husband, Kermit “Gene” Lambert; two sons, Keith (Lisa) Young of Chillicothe, OH, and James Young of Groveport, OH; a daughter-in-law, Shelley Young of Dublin, OH; a sister-in-law, Sue Hites of Marysville, OH; four grandchildren, Stacey (Kevin) Thompson, Bryan Young, Blake Young, and Rebecca Young; two great-grandchildren, Kobe and Kylan Thompson.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at the Sparks Funeral Home, Tommy Riffe, minister. Burial will follow in the Lambert Family Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday, November 9, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the Sparks Funeral Home.
