Roger Leroy Wolfe
1941-2021
Roger Wolfe, 80, of Leatherwood, passed away Tuesday, November 16, 2021, at the Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, KY. He was born March 21, 1941. in Greenup County a son of the late Bert and Jessie Felty Wolfe.
He was of the Baptist faith and had worked for Portsmouth Casting as a molder. He proudly served his country with the United States Marine Corps during the Cuban Missile Crisis, he was a member of the Portsmouth American Legion.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Sue Howland Wolfe; two daughters, Becky(Charles) McCoy and Carla(Bill) Lockwood both of Leatherwood; two sisters, Delores Barker and Rita Dietrich both of Greenup County; five grandchildren, Ryan (Heather) McCoy, Megan (Jeff) P'Simer, Emily (Dustin) Lockwood, Dylan (Santana) Lockwood, and Jarrett Lockwood; three great-grandchildren, Logan, Kinsley, and Sadie, and many relatives and friends. Serving as pallbearers will be; Ryan McCoy, Dylan Lockwood, Jarrett Lockwood, Logan Lockwood, Jeff P’Simer, and Dustin Hutson.
Funeral services will be Saturday, November 20, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. at the Sparks Funeral Home in Grayson, Travis Votaw and, Raymond Prince, officating. Burial will follow in the Boone Cemetery on Grassy with Military Honors.
Visitation will be Saturday, November 20, 2021, 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Face coverings will be required indoors.
