1945-2023
Roger Dale Howard, 78, of Grayson, KY went home Easter Sunday to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Roger was a retired grocery store owner and manager of the B and B Market of Isonville, KY for 27 years. He truly loved the outdoors, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and many other sports. He loved to travel different places and meet new people. He loved witnessing to others about Jesus and lifting the name of Jesus to all.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ezra Howard and Beulah Stephens Howard; two brothers, an infant brother, David Howard, and an elder brother, Robert Howard.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Lorene Spillman Howard of Grayson; a son, Roger Dale Howard Jr. of Sandy Hook, KY; two grandsons, Jaran Greer of Greenup and Gage Allen Baier of Grayson; two granddaughters, Sarah Beth Howard of Morehead and Clara Mae Howard of Grayson, and a great-granddaughter, Gracie Mae Fannin of Morehead; three brothers, Ronnie Howard and Donnie Howard both of Sandy Hook, Timmy Howard of Grayson; four sisters, Nadine Ison of Grayson, Ruby Ferguson of Blaine, Odella Maynard of Louisa and Janet Bailey of Grove City, OH; a host of nieces and nephews.
He was dearly loved by his wife, son, and grandchildren. Who will truly miss him but will always keep him in their hearts till they are together again.
Funeral services will be Thursday, April 13, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at the Freedom Tabernacle Church, 242 Freedom Tabernacle Rd. Webbville, KY 41180 on Diamond Ridge, Pastor, Matthew Adams. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday, April 13, 2023, 10:00 a.m. until service at the church.
