Oma Faye Branham Daniel
1943-2021
Oma Daniel, 77, of Grayson, passed away Tuesday, June 29, 2021, at her residence. She was born December 28, 1943, in Louisa, KY; a daughter of the late Frank and Mary Cartmel Daniel.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Glen Daniel; three sisters, Peggy Adams, Pauline Pigg, Jean Preece; a brother, Jimmy Branham.
She was of the Baptist faith, a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary in Ashland, KY. She had worked for many years at Rosie's Restaurant in Rush, KY.
She is survived by three sons, Glen (Heather) Daniel of Boyd County, James "OJ" (Leslie) Daniel of Boyd County, and Robert (Debbie) Daniel of Grayson; two sisters, Hope Bevins of Lowmansville, KY, and Barb Manson; a brother, Frank Branham of Parkersburg, WV; four grandchildren, Kinnedy, Noah, Ashleigh, and Everly; two great-granddaughters, Sophie, and Stevie Kate.
Funeral services will be Friday, July 2, 2021, at 12 noon at the Sparks Funeral Home in Grayson. Burial will follow at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Northeast in Greenup County.
Visitation will be Friday, July 2, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
