Obituary for Molly Louella Jackson (Blevins)
Molly Jackson, 87, of Grayson, KY went to be with the Lord Saturday, November 12, 2022, at King's Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, KY.
She was born May 19, 1935; the daughter of the late Hubert and Naomi Porter Blevins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Junior Jackson; a son, Buddy Jackson; a daughter, Kristina Jackson Day; a granddaughter, Alli Jackson Lemaster; two daughters-in-law, Teresa King Jackson, and Brenda Waugh Jackson; two sisters, Katie Blevins and Mary Pennington; four brothers, John Paul Blevins, Walter Blevins, Merc Blevins, and Willis Blevins.
Molly is survived by two sons, Kenneth Jackson and John Jackson both of Grayson, KY; two daughters, Joni (Alvin) Wilcox of Hitchins, KY and Shanna (Greg) Glancy of Willard, KY; three sisters, Dora (Kenny) Purdy of Dearborn Heights, MI, Jeanie Pennington of Grayson, KY and Starr (Jimmy) Manuel of Cold Water, MS; three brothers, James Tivis (Janie) Blevins of Grayson, KY, Bill (Marion) Blevins of Belleville, MI, and Charlie (Diann) Blevins of Canton, MI; fifteen grandchildren, Michael Wilcox, Jenny Jackson, Joey Wilcox, Holly Jackson, Lindsey Roberts, Kati Fannin, Tubz Glancy, Molly Stephens, Zach Glancy, Savannah Hart, Brady Jackson, Cheyenne Day, Sarah Jackson, Rebekah Jackson, and Dalton Day; nineteen great-grandchildren, Kenzi, Graci, Jackson, Reid, Peyton, Grayson, Chase, Zane, Rayne, Kenadi, Dylan, Paisley, Sully, Layla, Remi, Maddy, Londyn, Tiberius, and Maverick.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, November 16, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at the Mt. Chapel United Baptist Church, 1271 State Highway 1122 Grayson, KY, with Ike Flaugher, Scott Baier, Robbie Baier Terry Marshall, and Louis Baier officiating. Burial will follow at the East Carter County Memory Gardens in Grayson, KY. Serving as pallbearers will be; John Jackson, Michael Wilcox, Joey Wilcox, Tubz Glancy, Zach Glancy, and Dalton Day.
Visitation will be Tuesday, November 15, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at the Sparks Funeral Home in Grayson, KY and after 9:00 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
