1947-2023
Melissa Wilburn, 75, of Grayson, KY passed away Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, KY. She was born October 18, 1947 in Grayson, KY; a daughter of the late John Hampton and Anna Sexton Kitchen.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two sisters, Kathy Martin and Sallie Kemplin.
Melissa was of the Christian faith, and had worked as a waitress and homemaker.
She is survived by a daughter, Wendy (Roy) Kidd of Wellington, OH; a son, Stacey (Aimee) Wilburn of Canyon Lake, TX; a brother, Elwood (Lisa) Kitchen of Grayson, KY; two granddaughters, Olivia Wilburn and Alison Wilburn; a niece, Charlotte Stephens along with other family and friends.
Funeral services will be Thursday, August 10, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at the Sparks Funeral Home in Grayson, Kyle Burchett, minister. Burial will follow in the Edison Cemetery on Mayhew Flats.
Visitation will be Thursday, August 10, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
