Obituary for Maria Fran "Reed" Lucas (Stanley)
Maria (Reed) Lucas, 56, of Rush, passed away Saturday, April 17, 2021, at King's Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, KY. She was born October 3, 1964, in Ashland,KY, the daughter of Myrtle Counts Stanley of Rush and the late Bobby R. Stanley.
Maria was a cook at the former Tom's Pizza in Grayson for many years.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Eddie A. Lucas Jr. of Rush, KY; a son, Casey Grant Flaugher of Grayson; a brother, Robert A. (Rita) Stanley of Hitchins, KY; a sister, Wilma Sue (Clay) Miller of Morehead, KY; and a grandson, Garrett Payton Colley.
Funeral services will be Friday, April 23, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at the Sparks Funeral Home in Grayson Joe Ed Rice and Joe Hutchison, ministers. Burial will follow in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Northeast, in Greenup County at 1:00 p.m.
Visitation will be Thursday, April 22, 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
COVID-19 restrictions and precautions will be observed, face coverings are required.
