Margaret Belle Thomas Haney
1937-2023
Margaret Haney, 85, of Grayson, passed away Sunday, February 26, 2023, at her residence. She was born December 28, 1937, in Carter County, KY; a daughter of the late Elmer and Ada Rigsby Thomas.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, William L. Haney; a son, Billy Joe Haney; a daughter, Sandy Kaye Cornwell, and several brothers and sisters.
She was a homemaker.
She is survived by a daughter, Shanna (Jeff) Lachance of Ashland, KY; a brother, John Thomas of Ashland, KY; a sister, Hattie McMillian of Columbus, OH; seven grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and a special friend, Jessica Walters.
Graveside services will be Thursday, March 2, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at the Cribbs Hill Cemetery near Grayson, Ky, Clell Lucas, minister.
Visitation will be Thursday, March 2, 2023, starting at 12:00 p.m. at the Sparks Funeral Home in Grayson.
