Obituary for Leslie Darnell Rowlett (Eitniear)
Leslie Darnell Eitniear Rowlett, age 62 went home to be with her heavenly father Saturday, February 5, 2022 at King's Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, KY. She was surrounded by her family as she said goodbye to this world and entered her eternal home.
Leslie was born September 8, 1959 in Toledo Ohio; a daughter of the late Lester and Gladys Finch Eitniear. She was raised by her mother and Charles McKinley, the only father she ever knew.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Fausak.
She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Charles Rowlett, as well as her children, Charles "Ziggy" and Erin Rowlett of Ashland, KY, and Andrea and Mick Waller of Grayson, KY.
She leaves behind three brothers, Joe (Angie) McKinley, Dennis Eitniear, and Tim (Kim) Eitniear; a sister, Chris (Dennis) Odom; five grandchildren, Kali Ledford, Madison and Jakob Waller, and Tyler and Austin Rowlett. She also has an extended family of nieces and nephews.
Leslie was a member of New Beginnings Assembly of God and when her health allowed her to attend her favorite quote on Sundays was "Man, Pastor Kyle was on a role today." She lived for her family and anything to do with her grandkids was her favorite hobby. Leslie lived to make others smile and laugh and always put everyone else above her own needs and wants. She will be greatly missed.
Memorial Services will be conducted Saturday, February 12, 2022 at the New Beginnings Assembly of God Church in Grayson Ky. Visitation will be from 10 - 11 a.m. with the memorial service following conducted by Pastor Kyle Burchett.
