Leonard Thomas, 88, of Grayson passed away, Saturday, October 2, 2021 at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland. He was born March 16, 1933 in Rush, Kentucky to the late Henry G. and Betty Horton Thomas.

Mr. Thomas was a member of the Kilgore United Methodist Church. He was in sales for Ben Williamson Supply in Ashland and later for Farmers Hardware in Grayson. He enjoyed a variety of sports, cracking walnuts and maintaining his lawn.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife, Phyllis Williams Thomas; two brothers, Dan Thomas and Horton “Horty” Thomas.

Mr. Thomas is survived by his wife, Jeanetta Rose Thomas; a daughters, Carol Ann (Rick Adkins) Thomas of Rush, KY; a step-son, Larry (Valerie Lynn) Ingles of Grayson, KY; four brothers, Ronald (Joyce) Thomas, Larry (Barbara) Thomas both of Rush, KY, Hubert (Emma) Thomas of Ashland, KY, and Gary (Teresa) Thomas of Oregonia, OH; two sisters, Carolyn (Don) Young and Minnie (Don) Leibee both of Rush, KY; a sister-in-law, Charlotte Thomas of Rush, KY..

Funeral services will be Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at the Sparks Funeral Home in Grayson, Guy Moyer and Dwayne Young, ministers. Burial will follow in the East Carter County Memory Gardens.

Visitation will be Wednesday, October 6, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. until service time.
