1927-2021
Kenneth Martin, 94, of Grayson, passed away Thursday, December 2, 2021, at the Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, KY. He was born April 30, 1927, in Carter County a son of the late George and Carrie Hannah Martin.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son, Danny Ray Martin; two sisters, Georgia Perry, and Lucy Wilburn; six brothers, Chester, Willie, Richard, Vernon, Carl, and Athene Martin.
Kenneth was a member of the Hopewell Holiness Mission and had retired from Asplundh Tree Service.
He is survived by his wife, Tiney Marie Claxon Martin; a son, Michael (Annette) Martin of Grayson, KY; two grandsons, Chase (Chassity) Martin and Austin (Morgan) Martin both of Grayson, KY; three great-grandchildren, Ava, Easton, and Spencer.
Funeral services will be Sunday, December 5, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at the Sparks Funeral Home in Grayson, Christopher Bellew, minister. Burial will follow in the Martin Family Cemetery at Hopewell. Serving as pallbearers will be; Austin, Chase, Michael, Donnie, Raymond, and Tim Martin.
Visitation will be Saturday, December 4, 2021, 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Face coverings will be required indoors.
