Obituary for Jerry Donald ""Don"" Taylor
Jerry Donald Taylor of Minneola, Florida, known as "Don" left us to find his heavenly home August 31, 2022, at the age of 78.
Don was born in Dade City, Florida to Jerry and Sylvia Taylor along with his big sis, Jane. He was a graduate of Clermont High School.
He was a founding & lifetime member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge # 1615 of Minneola, Florida.
After his graduation from Clermont High School, he went to work for Tropicana orange juice company where he remained until he retired.
Don was an avid fisherman and hunter and loved to spend his free time on the water, in the woods camping, and cutting a rug on the dance floor.
He also enjoyed spending time with family and friends, who he loved very much.
Don was a great guy, a proud dad, grandpa, uncle who lived a good life. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jerry and Sylvia Taylor, his big sis, Jane Moherey, his daughter Wedney Hulsey, and his grandson Robert Taylor.
Don is survived by his two sons, Jerry Taylor (Teresa) of Groveland, FL, Marty Taylor (Tina)of Clermont, FL, his niece Debby Sweem of Old Town, FL, 12 grandkids and, 21 great-grandkids.
The family will be holding a Celebration of Life Service at the American Legion located at 1063 W. Desoto Street, Clermont, FL 34771 On September 24, 2022 from 12:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m.
