1937-2023
Harvey Berry, 85, of Grayson, passed away Tuesday, January 24, 2023, at St. Mary's Medical Center in Huntington, WV. He was born February 25, 1937, in Ashland, KY; a son of the late Harvey Sr. and Margaret Salyers Berry.
He was preceded in death by a son, Rex Allen Berry; five sisters, Marie Griffith, Catherine Singleton, Lizzie Carter, Imogene Beal and Eilene Nolen; a brother, Terry Berry.
Harvey was a self-employed building contractor, who remodeled and built many buildings in our area. He proudly served his Country with the United States Army.
He is survived by two sons, Phil (Bobbi) Berry and Bentley (Johnda) Berry both of Grayson, KY; two brothers, Charlie Berry of Flemingsburg, KY, and Sherman Berry of Grayson, KY; two sisters, Susie Brewster of Columbus, OH and Debbie Davis of Rush, KY; seven grandchildren, and several great- grandchildren.
Private military honors will be conveyed by the American Legion Post 93 of Kenova, WV at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Northeast.
