Gerald Stamper, 81 of Grayson passed away Sunday, February 7, 2021, at his residence. He was born August 4, 1939 in Grayson; a son of the late Everett and Minnie Prichard Stamper. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, and a brother, Mildred Carroll and Vernon Stamper.
Gerald was of the Christian faith and a member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Grayson. He was the owner of Stamper's Carpet in Grayson for many years and a member of Trimble Masonic Lodge # 145 in Grayson.
He is survived by his wife, Vivian Clayton Stamper; a daughter, Debbie Kuhner of Grayson; a son Terry Daniel (Nora) Stamper of Grayson; six grandchildren, Jessica (Patrick), Heather (Chris), Jennifer, Erica, Emerly (Christian), and Steven; seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Friday, February 12, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. at the Sparks Funeral Home in Grayson, Jack Harper, minister. Burial will follow in the Everman Cemetery at Gregoryville.
Visitation will be Friday, February 12, 2021, 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
