Georgia Marie Martin Perry
1926-2021
Georgia Perry, 95, of Grayson, passed away Saturday, May 15, 2021, at Carter Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Grayson. She was born January 24, 1926, at Pactolous, KY a daughter of the late George Robert and Carrie Haners Martin.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thurman Perry; a sister, Lucy Martin; eight brothers, Richard, William, George Watt, Chester, Athene, Raymond, Vernon, and Carl
.
She was of the United Methodist faith and a member of the Hopewell United Methodist Church. She had worked at Cardinal Cleaners many years ago while living in Ashland and then later she worked at J J's Restaurant.
She is survived by a brother, Kenneth (Tiney) Martin of Pactolous, KY; along with many other nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Thursday, May 20, 2021, at the Hopewell United Methodist Church at 1:00 p.m. Chris Bellew, minister. Burial will follow in the Martin Cemetery.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Hopewell United Methodist Church c/o Sparks Funeral Home 203 W. Main St Grayson, KY 41143
Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. until service time at the church.
Services under the direction of the Sparks Funeral Home in Grayson.
