Frank "Butch" Hereford Jr. 73, of Lexington, KY formerly of Ashland, KY passed away Friday, June 30, 2023, at the Markey Hospice Care Center in Lexington, KY. He was born August 13, 1950, in Ashland, KY; a son of the late Frank Hereford Sr. and Ethel Mae Clay Black.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Sharon Kay Hereford.

He was of the Baptist faith and had attended Rose Hill in Ashland, the Life Song Church, and The Mission Church in Lexington, KY.

He is survived by a daughter, Brittney (Michael) Leader of Ruskin, FL; a sister, Pam (Michael) Abrams of Lexington, KY; a brother, Larry Michael (Ann) Hereford of Ashland, KY; two grandchildren, Gage Leader and Alaina Leader; a special friend, O.J. Morris, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends to mourn his passing.

A memorial service will be conducted Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at 1:00 p.m.at the Sparks Funeral Home in Grayson, KY, Eric McCrickard, minister. Burial will follow in the Cribbs Hill Cemetery.

Friends may call Tuesday, July 11, 2023, 12:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
