Obituary for Eloise Jenkins (Marcum)
Eloise Jenkins, 100, passed away Tuesday, November 1, 2022, at King's Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, KY.
She was born June 4, 1922, in Stone, KY a daughter of the late Harmon and Alice Queen Marcum.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John B. Jenkins; two daughters, Bee Eloise Crisp, and Brenda Collier; four brothers and four sisters; five grandchildren, Jackie Evans, Christopher Polcyn, Alexandra Paige Bush, Morgan McDavid, and Mahlon McCord.
She was a housewife and mother, and the oldest member of the John's Run Tabernacle Church.
She is survived by two sons, Johnnie Jenkins of Grayson, and Jeffery (Alisa) Jenkins of Columbus, OH; three daughters, Thelma Polcyn of Ashland, KY, Melinda (Denzil) Clevenger of Germantown, KY, and Carmel Maggard of Grayson, KY; seventeen grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and a special niece, Mary Hay.
Funeral services will be Saturday, November 5, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at the Sparks Funeral Home in Grayson, Delmar Rogers, minister. Burial will follow in the Edison Cemetery on Mayhew Flats near Grayson.
Visitation will be Friday, November 4, 2022, from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at the Sparks Funeral Home.
