Dennie Hillman, 87 of Olive Hill, passed away Thursday, April 15, 2021, at the Carter Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Grayson. He was born April 7, 1934 in Lawton, KY a son of the late Harold and Jewel Burchett Hillman.
He was preceded by his wife, Martha Capitola Rodgers Hillman, and a sister, Phyllis Bunch.
Dennie was a member of the Gregoryville Christian Church. He spent most of his career as a truck driver, and in later years he and his wife owned Smithneck Country Store in Loyalton, CA.
He is survived by a daughter, Denise (Larue) Vanlandingham of Westville, FL; a son, David (Marita) Hillman of Vacaville, CA; a sister, Elizabeth Jennings of Palm Bay, FL; two grandchildren, Jamie Brown and Dean Hillman; a great-grandson, Garrett Brown.
Funeral services will be Sunday, April 18, 2021, at 4:00 p.m. at the Sparks Funeral Home in Grayson. Visitation will be an hour before the service at the funeral home
COVID-19 restrictions will be observed and face coverings are required.
