Obituary for Billy Calvin Griffith
Billy Griffith of Grayson passed away on August 16, 2021 at Kingsbrook Lifecare Center in Ashland. He was born March 19, 1930 to the late Connard B. and Gussie Halterman Griffith.
Billy was member of the Coalton Baptist Church. He worked many years at the Evans Lumber Company in Grayson and later years at Farmers Hardware.
In addition to his parent, he is preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Mildred Waugh Griffth; three brothers, Earnest, Ira C., and Arby J. Griffith; two sisters, Audria Walcott, and Ona Hartman.
Billy is survived by two nieces, Laura Etta Payne of Jackson, TN, and Vicki Goodnough of Waldrof, MD; a nephew, William Conn Griffith of Suisun, CA; and several great nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Cribbs Hill Cemetery, Paul Holbrook, minister.
Visitation will be Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
