Betty Jean McCormick McCleese
1934-2021
Betty McCleese, 87, of Carter City, KY, passed away Wednesday, June 16, 2021, at the South Shore Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in South Shore, KY.
She was born June 16, 1934, in Stafford Hill, KY, a daughter of the late James Elmer and Ruth McGlone McCormick. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Lee Roy McCleese; four sisters, Florence Ginn, Irene Davis, Marie McCormick, and Helen Kiser; a brother, James Elmer McCormick.
Betty was of the Christian faith and a homemaker.
She is survived by two sons, Terry Lee McCleese, and James Lee McCleese, both of Carter City; a sister, Lorene Scholfield of Circleville, OH.
A private graveside memorial service will be conducted by Chris Bellew
