Betty "Joan" Jones Buckler
1949-2021
Joan Buckler, 72 of Rush, passed away Thursday, August 26, 2021, at King's Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, KY. She was born April 10, 1949, in Grayson a daughter of the late Jim and Sue Lowe Jones. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a half-brother, Mart Jones and, her stepmother, Charlene Jones.
She had worked for the Grayson Rural Electric Cooperative Corporation, for many years as the Director of Finance and Administration.
She is survived by a daughter, Heather (Shawn) Davidson of Rush, KY; four brothers, Gary (Gay) Jones, James (Edith) Jones both of Grayson, KY, Bill Jones of Nicholasville, KY, and Wayne (Shelia) Jones of Olive Hill, KY; a sister, Donna Jones of Rush, KY, and the father of her daughter, Robert (Karen) Buckler of Willard, KY.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, August 31, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at the Sparks Funeral Home in Grayson, Paul Holbrook, minister. Burial will follow in the Lowe Family Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday 12:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
