Barbara Marshall, 84, of Grayson, passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2022, at the Community Hospice Center in Ashland, KY. She was born January 13, 1938, in Gregoryville, KY; the daughter of the late Carl Bliss and Ruth Strother Littleton.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two husbands; Talmadge Harris, the father of her children and Earl Marshall; a sister, Isabell Williamson; a brother, John Littleton; a grandson, Jarred Bush; a grandson-in-law, Chris Campbell.
Barbara was employed by the City of Grayson as a City Clerk for thirty-three years. She was a member of the Gregoryville Christian Church, Carter County and Gregoryville Homemakers Clubs, a member of the Eastern Star Chapter 10, Grayson, KY, and a homemaker and mother.
She is survived by two sons, Tally (Cathy) Harris of Grayson; Kevin (Carla) Harris of Tullahoma, TN; two daughters, Melanie (David) Hamilton of Eaton, OH; Carla (Tim) Morris of Grayson; three sisters, Mary Sue Sparks of Brookville, OH, Janet (Clifford) Buck of Grayson, and Linda (Ron) Arnett of Grayson; stepson, Terry (Maryann) Marshall, of Grayson, KY; and a stepdaughter, Brenda Hughes; seven grandchildren, and fourteen great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews that will cherish her memories.
Funeral services will be Saturday, September 17, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Gregoryville Christian Church, Ron Arnett, minister. Burial will follow in the Clark Cemetery in Elliott County. Serving as pallbearers will be; Will Harris, Travis Harris, Price Harris, Bobby Ebling, Scott Harris, and Gerry Bennett.
Visitation will be Friday, September 16, 2022 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at the church.
