Alvin Emerson, 36, of New Martinsville, WV formerly of Grayson, KY passed away Friday, February 25, 2022, at the Genesis Hospital in Zanesville, OH. He was born July 13, 1985, in Ashland, KY, a son of Timothy P. and Margaret Holbrook Emerson of Grayson, KY.
He was a member of the Moose Lodge and the American Legion of New Martinsville, WV. He was a CDL Bucket Operator for the Penn Line Tree Service.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his long-time companion, Beth Anne Ritz of New Martinsville, WV; three brothers, Timothy C. (Evelyn) Emerson, Samuel P. (Bobbi) Emerson, and Kenneth R. Emerson all of Grayson, KY.
Funeral services will be Thursday, March 3, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at the Sparks Funeral Home in Grayson, Edward Paris Emerson Jr, officiating. Burial will follow in the Emerson Family Cemetery on Fighting Fork.
Visitation will be Wednesday, March 2, 2022, from 6:00 p.m- 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
